Revelation in the Rough - Conclusion

It's Over!

Well that's it, folks! Thanks for reading my mini-blog series! I hope it felt like I was having a conversation with you on what I have learned. I definitely had a good conversation with myself as I learned throughout this experience. To those who have been trying to invite revelation into their lives, I'm so glad you came and I really hope you picked up what you needed! Let's go through it all one last time!

One last technique that works so well!

My Experience

I have felt for a while that I should talk frankly about some of the things I have learned about revelation. This mini-blog series has been my response to that prompting. I decided to do this at a time that I am seriously wrestling inside about my own weaknesses and my own path. I don't think that this was a coincidence. I think that if we use these techniques, and keep learning and growing on the path of faith, our acts will be sufficiently consecrated for us to receive the light and knowledge that we need.

There is still a lot of work I get to do to be better. I, for one, am repeating Wendy Watson Nelson's Challenge for 30 days after this!

It's Not Over!

Yes the blog really is over. But the journey never ends. In The Lord of the Rings, Frodo is communicating this to Sam. Frodo himself learned this from Gandalf when Gandalf told him 'all that you need to decide is what to do with the time that is given you.' He passes the lesson on to Sam that even though middle earth is saved, and his home is spared, there is still a great work to do, and time to do it. Sam marries Rosie Cotton and the last scene is him standing at his door with his child as he says 'Well, I'm back'.

Roads go ever ever on. If you learned something useful from this please reach out to me or comment. We all have work to do with ourselves and with each other, and time to do it. Let's keep going and supporting one another.

Last Thing:

One last reminder from the greatest music group of all time! Never give up on your dreams!
